PT Cahaya Sakti Furintraco didirikan di kota Bogor pada tahun 1983 dengan jalur bisnis yang ditempuh adalah memproduksi dan memasarkan produk-produk meja belajar yang bersifat knockdown furniture dengan mengadopsi Olympic Furniture sebagai brand name-nya.

Untuk memperluas jaringan pemasaran dan distribusi pada tahun 1986 didirikan PT Cahaya Sakti Multi Intraco. Bapak Au Bintoro selaku Chairman Olympic Group menganggap pentingnya perluasan pemasaran dan distribusi tersebut juga perlu disertai dengan perluasan kelompok dan tipe produk-produknya, mulai dari Bed Room Set, Living Room Set, Children Set, Kitchen Set, dan Office Set, dengan tujuan untuk mengakomodasi meningkatnya permintaan terhadap produk-produk knockdown untuk rumah tangga maupun perkantoran.

Saat ini Olympic Furniture sudah menjadi salah satu bagian hidup dari Konsumen dalam maupun luar negeri. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan adanya lebih dari 70 cabang Olympic diseluruh Indonesia yang mendistribusikan ke lebih dari 3600 toko, baik Traditional Retails Outlet maupun Modern Retails Outlet, dan pendistribusian ke lebih dari 100 negara dipelosok dunia.
